When We Are Closed

Depending on your circumstances there are a number of options available to you..

  • Self-Care - It is advisable to keep a supply of basic medicines such as paracetamol and ibuprofen in your medicine cabinet, just in case
  • Pharmacists are trained medical professionals who can offer quick advice on a wide range of minor illnesses and can often provide over the counter medicine that do not require a prescription
  • Extended Access Appointments will be available for Surbiton Health Centre.

  • 111 is an NHS non-emergency number where you can call to speak to a highly trained adviser who is supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.  NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.
  • A&E and 999 is only to be used if you are seriously ill and need emergency care fast, including heavy bleeding, serious broken bones, choking, chest pain, difficulty breathing, blacking out or seizures.
