GP Registrars

A GP Registrar is an experienced doctor who has elected to undertake additional training to qualify as a GP. As an approved GP training practice we usually have a GP Registrar in post and you can book appointments with them in the usual way. They are no less knowledgeable than one of our other GPs.

Training of Medical Students

Medical students frequently join us in the practice as part of their training. We believe that helping to educate and train the next generation of doctors is a very important part of our work.  However we are keen that no patient feels awkward or embarrassed by their presence. You will always be asked if you would mind a student sitting in on your consultation. We are always grateful when patients agree, but please do not feel any anxiety saying “no”, we want our patients to have a positive experience during their consultation.
